Two hearts one beat (combined petrol & electric).

The IONIQ Hybrid offers a driving experience not dissimilar to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles, but with much improved fuel efficiency. Driven primarily by its petrol engine, its battery-powered electric motor kicks in to provide additional assistance during acceleration, while operating solely during steady cruising and at low speeds.

Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid Regenerative Breaking

Regenerative braking.

The IONIQ Hybrid isn't recharged via an external power source. Instead, its high-voltage battery is recharged through regenerative braking - an innovative technology that captures kinetic energy while the vehicle is coasting and when the brakes are applied. Steering wheel-mounted paddles allow you to increase or decrease the amount of regenerative braking you can potentially harvest.

Sleek exterior silhouette.

The IONIQ Hybrid's sleek, flowing, fastback silhouette is more than just a visual pleasing design style; it's a scientifically developed aerodynamic form that creates an incredibly low drag co-efficient (Cd) of just 0.25 – to positively slice through the air with minimal resistance.

Your IONIQ, your way.

In keeping with our design philosophy of sophisticated simplicity, we’ve kept the colour palette range available for both variants focused, classic and carefully thought out.

Interior elegance, stylishly and ethically.

As you would expect from a car in this class, the cabin is sophisticated, comfortable, and extremely well appointed. But what might surprise you are some of the raw materials used to produce many of its interior surfaces, including sugarcane by-products, recycled plastics, bio-fabrics, powdered woods and even volcanic stone.

Hyundai by your side.

We’ve tried to make sure you find every stage along the path to owning a IONIQ Hybrid a thoroughly positive experience. From flexible financing and tailored insurance cover, to sat-nav map updates and fixed-price servicing, we’ll make available everything you could need to get the most out of your new car, now and way down the road.

Safety first and foremost.

IONIQ is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense™[H1] safety technologies.
