2022 Australian Rally Championship: i20 N R5 livery revealed.
Hyundai will enter this weekend’s opening round of the 2022 Australian Rally Championship, the Netier National Capital Rally, with a striking new ‘Let’s play’ livery on the i20 N R5 rally car to be driven by Brendan Reeves.
Revealed today, the bold design is certain to be a crowd favourite and stand out in the forests near Canberra during the 13 special stages of the event.
“This Hyundai i20 N looks fantastic and the design makes it look like it’s flying down a special stage even when it’s standing still,” said Reeves, who won the Rally of Canberra at his last attempt in 2016.
“We will certainly be giving it our best from inside the cockpit this weekend to match the design with a winning performance on the time sheets.
“We had a shakedown test last week and the car is amazing to drive. I am really excited and can’t wait for the competition to begin. Let’s play!”
The livery was created by Adrian Marcelino from All Stuck Up Graphics in South Hurstville in Sydney, and takes inspiration from the ‘Let’s Play’ brand line promoting the exciting range of N vehicles now available in Australia, including the critically acclaimed i30 N hatch, i30 Sedan N, Kona N small SUV and Top Gear’s Car of the Year, the i20 N hot hatch.
“The N tagline, ‘Let’s play’, allowed me to have some fun with this N design, so I just went wild with it,” Marcelino said.
“It should stand out from the crowd this weekend in Canberra. It’s the kind of crazy design I love to do!”
