N-thusiasts dominate on and off the track.
Our passionate New South Wales N-thusiasts contributed to a big weekend for Hyundai at Sydney Motorsport Park for the fourth round of the TCR Australia Championship.
The action kicked off on Friday morning with five i30 N TCR cars competing in the three sprint races, which meant Hyundai broke the record for the largest representation from a single brand in the touring car series.
On Saturday, more than 110 N-thusiasts in 60 stunning i30 Ns gathered for our latest N Drive Meet, and a brilliant drive through the picturesque Royal National Park. In the afternoon they headed back to Sydney Motorsport Park for a BBQ and an exclusive parade lap on the circuit, led by Motorsport Australia’s i30 Fastback N Safety Car.

They also got their first glimpse of the all-new KONA N ‘true hot’ SUV and cheeky i20 N pocket rocket, plus behind the scenes access to the HMO Customer Racing garage to see the TCR racing cars up close.

On the track, it was a breakthrough weekend for HMO driver Josh Buchan who dominated the on-track action with two race victories and a second place, with team-mate Nathan Morcom racing home to third in the final race for a double podium finish.
Thank you to all the N-thusiasts who joined!
“It was awesome watching the racing, having some good food and met a few new people that were awesome. And the lap around the track just made my day.”

“I was trying to be sensible on the parade lap but you have to hear the crackle and pops from the grand stands – that’s the main thing.”
